LYNN - A Hispanic male, who appeared to be in his early 20s, was thrown several feet into the air after being struck by a pickup truck on Washington Street, near Western Avenue, by an alleged unlicensed driver around 9:30 p.m. last night.

Chavez was arrested in Lynn at least once before, on Dec. 26, 2004, for domestic assault and battery.

When police went to the home to look for the suspected assailant, they found another young woman lying on a couch in the basement, completely naked and unconscious. It took several attempts by emergency medical technicians to wake the woman, who told them she believed she had been sexually assaulted. She told police she was drinking and using the drug Ecstasy."
