Politics, guns, my home town and surrounding areas, loathing, and the observations of a very grumpy white male living in a suburb of Boston. "Lynn, Lynn, city of sin. You never come out the way you went in. Ask for water, they give you a gin... it's the darndest city I ever been in."

Immigration blah blah blah....

That asshat Bush lost me and most of my conservative friends months ago. (That absolutely does not mean I'm a Democrat, wish Kerry had won, or would ever consider voting for a Democrat, so settle down.) The Republicans have successfully convinced me to never vote for them again. I'll vote third party, I'll write in Buchannon, or I'll make a conscious decision not to vote. Thanks for bending me over the toilet and ramming it up my ass Republicans.

Anyway, I've got a guy working for me who loved Bush like I love single malt. Late 50's veteran of the Korean war ("I was holding back the yellow hoard before you were even a twinkle in your father's eye...") who has defended EVERYTHING Bush has done since he was elected. True dittohead who takes Limbaughs word as if it came down from God himself. He has had a picture of Bush hanging in his living room until this past weekend. He took it down. He gave up on Bush. If Bush managed to lose this guy...

Finally!!!!

Thanks to a little haggling with the boys at Collectors Coin Gallery and the fact that there was absolutely nothing at the Wilmington Shriners gun show I am now the proud owner of my favorite gun of all time, a 1911. A Smith 1911 to be exact which brings me up to 5 S&W's. Hurray for me!

I've already ordered a set of ultrathin cocbolo grips and a SWEET holster from K&D. (Eagle Defender in burgundy with thumb break and my initials!)

No Words.

I while ago I ranted about the parents of Poppy Zegger-Murphy having trouble with their visas. Today I found this...
Saturday 19th November 2005
POPPY ZEGGER-MURPHY

I regret to tell you that little Poppy passed away peacefully last week. Please pray for parents and grandparents. It must be heartbreaking when everything was going so well. The parents sent me an e-mail thanking the parishioners of Hornchurch for all their wonderful support which was greatly appreciated. At least she is a little angel in heaven.

I'm so sorry for their loss. I can't even imagine. I can't wait to go home and see my daughter.

More Natural Selection

Police shoot teen in school standoff.

I'm totally ok with this.

LONGWOOD -- A Milwee Middle School eighth-grader, who last year threatened to blow up a school bus, showed up for class Friday with a pistol in his backpack.

However, classmates of Chris Penley, 15, didn't know it was a pellet gun.

Oh well.
Neither did a veteran Seminole County deputy sheriff, who made a split-second decision to open fire when Chris pointed the weapon at him.

Good decision.
The deputy's single shot gravely wounded the boy, who was on life support Friday at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Nice shootin'!
While investigators were trying to figure out what prompted the boy's actions, classmates said a dispute over a girl might have led to the tragedy.

How about plain old crazy? How about shitty parents? How about crazy and shitty parents?
Chris told a student at breakfast in the cafeteria that he was going to beat up another boy and then was spotted carrying a gun in his backpack, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Sounds like he was fine young lad. Little punk ass.

I'm really glad that this little peice of shit took a bullet. I hope the officer is taking it OK because he absolutely did the right thing. Fuck this kid. Who knows what kind of shit he would have pulled as he got older. Nice fucking parenting folks.
